I am thinking about installing this light in our dining room - As usual the budget is tight but I think this option is a "Similar" look for less & simmilar to the one featured in this magnificant home.

Black beauty- Home tour
I have read my current issue of Belle a few times mulling over every little detail of the most fabulous homes I have seen in a long time - then to my surprise the wonderful July issue of Ivy & Piper also featured the same home- designed by Greg Natale- All pics courtesy of Greg Natale.

Basket Weave Pattern
Isn't everyone just loving the Basket weave pattern at the moment - I think it might be the "Next Big thing" in the interiors world - following Bold black stripe, Mr Trellis & Mrs Chevron.

Turning a Studio into a One bedroom apartment!!!
With the property prices the way they are almost everywhere I can totally appreciate this "Ikea Hack". These renovators used wardrobe doors to turn a Studio into a great one bedroom apartment Genius! Full post here.
A note from the renovators:
I can't imagine anyone wanting to have their bed in their living room, so we started to brainstorm. We discussed ever type of foldaway bed and room divider. Then we found IKEA's PAX sliding cupboard doors.
We bought the biggest we could find in light aluminum and frosted glass.
We measured the size of our Ikea beds and marked off the new room so it would fit our bed and some clothing space tightly in order to save as much space in the living room as possible.
I whipped up 2 wooden frames and mounted them to the ceiling, walls and floor. I then mounted the PAX doors and tidied up the frame.
Genius!

Brooklyn Limestone = The perfect mix of Blue & Grey
I have been inspired by blogger Brooklyn limestone FOR LIKE EVER (as I am sure you have also). If Mrs Limestone would let me I would move in yesterday - it seams that every detail is so well planned and designed with the right shades of steel blues and greys. In our next renovation I know I will be taking allot of inspiration from these images:
